What's the pallet anti-slip strips and its function?
Pallet anti-slip strips (also known as anti-slip mats or non-slip strips) are elastic accessories embedded in the load-bearing surface/bottom of pallets to increase friction and prevent goods from sliding. Suitable for: Normal temperature handling, general anti-slip needs
PVC (Recycled / Ordinary)
Coefficient of Friction: 0.5–0.7
Inexpensive, relatively soft
Easily falls off, easily wears, hardens at low temperatures

Injection molding pre-embedded (most secure)
Anti-slip strip is injection molded into one piece with the pallet
Never falls off, lifespan is the same as the pallet
Preferred for automated warehouses/heavy goods pallets
Snap-on/Embedded (replaceable)
Pallet pre-drilled grooves/ Holes, anti-slip strips with expansion heads for easy insertion.
Damaged strips can be replaced individually, resulting in low maintenance costs.
Suitable for ordinary turnover pallets.
IV. Why must anti-slip strips be used in automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS)?
Stacker crane high-speed start/stop: Large inertia during sudden stops; without anti-slip, pallets are prone to shifting and jamming.
High-bay racking: High risk of slippage.
Smooth packaging (film-wrapped, metal, plastic drums): Ordinary textures cannot grip.
National standard requirement: Dry friction coefficient of AS/RS pallets ≥ 0.8.
